Project Brief
The contemporary architectural style advocates the gratuitous but rational pieces coordinated with slant roofs, lattice windows, indoor sceneries and balconies that constitute the one-of-a-kind building artistry.
Project Innovation/Need
The unique features of public facilities at Terroir incorporate the slant roofs, chimneys and real fireplaces, of which the well-functioning ventilation discharging smokes to the outdoor environment. At the lounge, people have a great time enjoying the recreational life style exclusively at Terroir.
Design Challenge
The pathway specifically for people. The roads at the Terroir are conveniently accessible and safety-secured for people, whenever walking, strolling or jogging. Moreover, that the plenty of plantations, the widen roads and the pedestrian trails consolidated with the peripheral jogging tracks, landscapes and public facilities extraordinarily merge the environmental conditions with the recreation life style.
Sustainability
All the walkways paved by the water-resistant granites and decorated with the plantations that well conserve the environmental soil and water. Moreover, the ecological-style landscaping that concerns the soil conservation and the harmonious ecosystem comprehensively takes into account the ecological, aesthetic and hydrophilic features as well.
On the east side of the manor, the public space planted with a number of arbors and shrubs demonstrates the complete afforestation plan that transforms the public area into a big cypress forest. The peripheral walls made of the puli stones synthesize the architecture and natural environment as a complete unity.

This award celebrates the design process and product of planning, designing and constructing form, space and ambience that reflect functional, technical, social, and aesthetic considerations. Consideration given for material selection, technology, light and shadow.
