Winners of the 2015 New York Design Awards were today announced by design100 Founder Mark Bergin including the Best Studio less than 5 - Clouds Architectural Office, Best Studio 5 to 20 - Mucca Design, and Best Studio 20+ - HOK. Selected winning projects are to be interviewed at the Design Summit [NYC] to be held at the South Street Seaport Culture District on Wednesday 2 December. The Design Summit will explore the projects across 4 themes - Design Courage, The Design Economy, Made for People and Future & Now and will be hosted by renowned Australian presenter Fenella Kernebone assisted by panel members and Mark Bergin.
“The courage demonstrated by clients and creative teams is the powerhouse behind a strong pool of award winners.
We live in an age where technology is disrupting the status quo; design is the fast track for society to harness disruption, reconnecting the community, markets and transforming the economy.
There is no way a single statement can summarise the diversity of projects, innovation and disruption covered throughout the awards – the only recommendation I have is attend the summit, immerse yourself with the inside stories and learn how others are creating award winning projects” said Mr Bergin
