Project Brief

Using Adolphe Los's technique, through the technique of overlapping, to achieve the fusion of function and artistic beauty. Breaking the routine, the art installation is presented in a more dramatic way, forming a three-dimensional and multi-dimensional relationship with the space, which is intriguing.
In the 17th century, the European continent, the rise of club culture, the gentleman's good breeding, elegant tradition, and the elegant taste of life are fully reflected here. "The medieval gentleman's lifestyle" as the prototype, extending the retro art lifestyle, combined with contemporary aesthetics, to explore a more diversified style of living space. Gadgets at home can always soften every hard expression, clean lines, and rough texture, and under the small collection that comes back from the journey, a temperature is added. The study is connected to the lounge, with built-in bookshelves throughout the wall and a wide range of artworks and books, just like an elegant and bookish living room. It's fun to think of someone flipping through a book, someone chatting with a glass of wine, or someone staring at a work of art, where people meet and yet have their own world.
Strong classical atmosphere, rich texture of leather, old bronzing texture, each place seems to be telling a story, deep in the meantime, feel the thickness of time and humanity.

Project Need

Hard outfit modern Oriental, soft outfit on this basis hope is contemporary, artistic, with hazy Oriental temperament, living room main sofa, jade bench, dining room chandelier, study desk and chandelier are fully expressed on the basis of this design concept. The biggest innovation is in the lift area of the basement bar, which adopts a curvilinear shape with an Oriental streamline shape, standing in the space like calligraphy. The second innovation point also adopts the "space volume method" in the spatial approach, which simply means that each material can also form a sense of individual block in the space. The basement space is where the dark volume meets the white volume.

Design Challenge

As a compound, underground 2F has a large leisure meeting area, a soft outfit in the layout that hopes to separate the functions and is coherent and relaxed. The two-way sofa is used as a space segmentation element, one side is a symmetrical cigar wine-tasting area, and the other side adopts a liberalized plane layout method. The smooth lines of the curved sofa weaken the hard sense of space, and the wall collection display cabinet is the main body of the display, breaking the traditional symmetrical layout method, and the combination of sofa + single chair. Keep the whole space in a relaxed and elegant state on the basis of order. There is a large terrace outside the boys' room, and the project is located in Xiaohe Mountain, Hangzhou, with excellent natural scenery. When creating the theme of the boys' room, I hope that the indoor soft outfit is not simply placed green plants to echo the outdoor elements, but the concept of creating the whole bedroom as a natural element. From the selection of the bed, the layout of the bedside table, the matching of the bed, and other details, the flexible design form is used, which breaks through the hard outfit frame and is more in line with the use of the children's room.

Sustainability

Artworks in the space, a work by the artist Shao Lei, made of natural clay and burned paper... Innovative and environmentally friendly materials give a new design form in line with the current design context. The other artwork is 3D printing + hand-painting, innovative technology + traditional hand-painting techniques is also a new exploration mode of contemporary art. The teahouse display cabinet uses acrylic materials, and the transparent display shelf places various forms of tea utensils, the collision of tradition and modern, ceramics and modern materials brings unexpected new integration.
