Project Overview

During the process from start to finish, the design team always maintained the devotion and persistence to the project, respected the pursuit of architectural spirit as well as local diversity and difference, had faith in the respect for the city, the improvement on the design and social responsibility, and constantly pursued more professional and excellent standards and more exquisite and perfect presentation of architecture.
The project adopts modern architectural style, which is simple, majestic and detailed. The design enhances the personality of architecture itself, and meanwhile emphasizes the all-round visual effect of the entire building cluster in the city, which looks novel and unique rather than being obtrusive or exaggerated. Human scale-friendly and detailed design languages, overall architectural scale coupled with exquisite facade details create the high-quality urban building cluster along the street.

Project Brief

The buildings are dominated by the classy cool gray tone, and the facades are endowed with striking public architectural features, thus creating a contemporary and international image.
Facades are stretched, smooth, concise yet not superfluous. The overall visual image reveals an exquisite touch. The large frame breaks the visual effect of exceeded length and enriches the layers of architectural appearance.
Facades follow the conventional three-section composition that is often adopted by Greentown. The design focuses on proportion of form, and creates an understated luxury architectural form through modern and simplistic techniques. Moreover, the design introduces the modern aesthetic style of superflat which is popular all over the world, and conveys more upscale and simplistic architectural aesthetic value.
Adhering to the unceasing pursuit of architectural beauty, the project draws on neo-orientalist architectural aesthetics, blends the harmonious, elegant and minimalist design of CCCG’s Hua property series with Western architectural concepts, and leverages the art layers of point, line and plane, with a view to creating classy aesthetic buildings featuring an international and minimalist touch and style for elites in Tianjin.

Project Innovation/Need

With the design concept of minimalism, the project adopts the three-section facade composition, as well as the classy gray tone widely used in the paintings of Italian artist Giorgio Morandi. Besides, the design incorporates the art layers of point, line and plane, and elaborates the proportion, scale, techniques and details, thereby creating modern, exquisite, international and textured buildings and reshaping an upscale residential environment in Tianjin.
Based on the urban fabrics, the master planning unfolds along the roads, well echoing the existing surrounding buildings under construction. Functional circulations are reasonably organized to reduce disorder. Vehicle circulation routes quickly lead from urban roads to the basement garage, and the parking area on the ground floor is set along the internal site, thus avoid interference on the pedestrian flow to commercial space.

Design Challenge

Today’s architecture has long abandoned rough style. Only architecture with innovative aesthetic details can stand the test of time and become a timeless classic.
In terms of material selection, the first floor of base adopts waterborne stone-like paint and metallic paint, and stone-like paint is also applied to walls and roofs, optimizing details and the scale and highlighting the architectural quality.

Sustainability

This project realizes sustainable development by taking the following measures. First, the total amount and type of building materials are under controlled to reduce carbon emission. Second, water saving and recycling are encouraged. Third, non-motorized vehicle spaces are reasonably planned and designed to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, going out by electric vehicle and bike is encouraged, and convenient public transportation services are offered. Fourth, under the guidance of low emission, arbors and shrubs that have strong carbon dioxide adsorption capacity are planted and natural ecological greenery is created in the community.
