Project Overview
Freedom is the nature of humans and the soul of modern design. The designer reorganizes with breakthroughs. As a result, in the dialogue and references of various symbols and lines and in the integration and symbolism of humanistic art and contemporary design language components, the space produces new, fashionable, elegant living aesthetics and also adds a spiritual perception to the people and objects in the place. Through the highly humanistic design and the simplistic and advanced decorative aesthetics, it has created an artistic conception and ambience for space.

Project Brief
The sand table in the entrance area occupies the field of view with an absolute layout, while the terrazzo’s rustic paving tiles highlight the project theme. The wooden time dial device features manual adjustments of the dates. Combining light and shadow, it shows time changes and different images with different angles in the space, imbuing the space with more ductility and possibilities in the three-dimensional world.
On one side wall is a log block matrix plate. Viewed from a distance, it gives a visual sensation of pixel combinations featuring brimming craftsmanship. The collision of different materials has invariably enhanced spatial sense. Meanwhile, it carries a converging air of primitiveness and intelligence, forming a contrast of relaxation and tension with the neat lattice bookshelves and adding a thinking tension to space.
Project Innovation/Need
The fabric sofa, single chair and other furniture are made of premium customized brands. The agglomeration of grass green, coffee, elegant white and gentle gray tones has paved out the modern and elegant temperament of the space. The hollow orb embedded in the ceiling expresses the artistic conception of “floating” flexibly, giving rich variations to space.
Design Challenge
The soft furnishings see the selections of natural woods, rattans, elegant wood carvings, and luxurious fabrics as the material expressions. Such colors as champagne, polished antique silver, blush red, soft gray, and speckled black interact with woven rattans to create a relaxing ambience.
In the reading area, the Scando Table was designed by designer Eric Pfeiffer in 2005 to meet the needs of children’s games and practical uses, and also to address the need for adults to have a functional tea table. The storage compartment beside the tea table can store magazines and books, making it both practical and beautiful.
Sustainability
Natural light is used to complement the work and reflect the emotional and spatial context in which it was created. The open span is designed for future adaptability & flexibility, furniture made from recycled wood from sustainable sources, putting recycled wood furnitures in the house to create a natural feel.
