Eradicate excessively gorgeous and dazzling decorations, and the large areas of the clean base are embellished with iron piece decorations, unveiling the prelude for a transparent layout with a refreshing field of vision. This design project depicts the pure simple modern style, where aesthetic sentiment grows naturally, directly bringing out the purity of life.

Project Brief

Doris Janzen Longacre once said: “The trouble with simple living is that, though it can be joyful, rich, and creative, it isn't simple.”

Project Need

The spatial design is implemented with a large amount of pure aesthetical ideas, what appears to be simple and pure color connotation adds a majestic manner to the space with a few strokes of tranquil colors; the black, white and grey color theme is embellished with a slight wooden colors, resulting in the demonstration of the tranquil spatial atmosphere; the natural lighting brightens up the room with cleanness, while the study and the bedroom areas inherits the originally existing pure simplicity to allow the space with consistent harmony.
Extraction of lines from natural signs and spatial rhythm is conducted in a gentle manner, hoping to demonstrate the pure spatial needs; the close integration and reinterpretation transform the objects within the space, directly exploring the residence’s pure natural design vocabularies, creating the solemnness and tranquility exclusive to space.

Design Challenge

In response to the house owner’s needs, we have transformed the wall surfaces into round corners, and eliminated the large beams and columns to allow the space with broader visual effects. Moreover, we have demonstrated the cabinet design with extremely aesthetic designs, where the effects presented weighs more than the storage function, allowing functionality and aesthetic sentiment to fuse ingeniously. We have confirmed the looks that each object wants to be presented and adopted different coatings and materials as the finishing for the joints, hoping to create a cozy residence for the house owner to rest and meditate.

Sustainability

Choose energy-saving and environmental protection for daily furniture and equipment, such as the use of inverter air conditioners, power-saving water heaters, LEDs, etc.
The high ceiling creates a wide space and uses shutters to promote air circulation and lighting.
