Project Brief

At the time standing on the Alps along the German-Austrian border, I meditate on the method designing the building façade with that stunning scene. I cautiously examined the components of the Gothic architecture, and converted them to the proper size decorated on the building exterior. Without the redundant quantitative analysis, the design idea simply adjusts the building image in fantasy, thus adding to the vitality to the architectural design. At last, the four pinnacles on the roof figuratively continue the style of the family. On the roof, the roof cornices exemplify the void element, and the Gothic carvings on the gables signify the real element. Similarly, the pinnacles represent the real element, and the triangular structures act as the void element. The alternation of the simple void and real elements connects the 100-meter building lines.

Project Need

We replaced the fairy-tale imageries with the Art-Deco skills. The presumed indigo roofs have now been decorated with the red bronze tiles. The supposed white walls, similarly, have been decorated with the delicate stones. Adjoining the wide open space, the buildings with the red bronze pinnacles on the roofs are enchanting. The building base constructed with the black onyx marbles agreeably connects the 100-meter shop street. It seems that we can hear the Haydn’s symphony in the New Swanstone Castle.

Design Challenge

To fit the elegant building façade, the design style as graceful as the swan is applied in the common space construction, in which the tall hall embellished with the matte gold and beige colors, the mirrors, the delicate golden moldings and marbles manifest the delicate imagery. The crystal light fixtures are elegantly glittering in the hall meanwhile.

Sustainability

Based on the style of a piano bar, the lounge is visually divided into the matte and silver grey areas. The classical sofas congruously correspond to the design elements in the ancient Roman architectures, thus revealing the elegant and poised allurement. The audio-visual room is decorated with the similar design elements and colors that consistently integrate the graceful and composed charisma as well. The audio-visual room decorated with the recessed lights exposes the delicate quality. The tall clear-glass walls combine the exquisite building exteriors and the delicate indoor decorations.

Open to all international projects this award celebrates innovative and creative building interiors, with consideration given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, aesthetic presentation and functionality. Consideration also given to space allocation, flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.
