Project Overview

Tiger Coffee are a family-owned business that originated in the UK and now have a presence nationwide across Australia and New Zealand. They provide complete coffee solutions including machines, maintenance and consumables, and are the leading provider of high-end coffee systems to many corporate and retail businesses across Australasia. Having refreshed their brand in 2017 and recently created a website for their new roastery and proprietary coffee brand Latitude, it was time to refresh the master website.

Project Brief

The brief sought to clearly articulate and better align Tiger's offer with their target markets, and demonstrate their premium and unrivalled product range and services. Staff spend a lot of time on the road and on site with their clients, so a simple, mobile-friendly IA was essential. The site and the overarching brand aim to capture the rich and enticing characteristics of coffee, the artisan appeal of coffee culture and that ultimate moment of anticipation that coffee lovers the world over know so well... like a Tiger about to pounce on its prey!

Project Need

While a lot of new business is channelled through Tiger's existing network, presence at industry events and word of mouth, the business was conscious that a carefully crafted digital presence is essential both to drive organic traffic and to showcase their offer to prospective clients.
Tiger were keen to sharpen their inbound marketing strategy to enhance lead-capture by improving SEO and a leading with a locally-hosted, sales-focussed site.

User Experience

A key focus of this project was to simplify and make key products from services to machines more prominent. We used competitor analysis and our user experience experts to craft an effortless user journey, which resulted in a simple and consistent look and feel of the website.

Project Marketing

As the digital home-base for Tiger Coffee in Australia, marketing activity post-launch will be a mix of targeted and organic. They will primarily use their social media channels to drive ongoing inbound traffic, and may look to include blog posts on the site over time - particularly as they add new products or services, and as their roastery expands.
As a business who prides themselves on the service component of their offering, a lot of their growth is built on a strong foundation of relationships and human connection. As such, the site needed to be simple and intuitive enough that when staff are speaking to potential customers about their offering, it can also function as a sales tool to showcase their credentials.

Project Privacy

As a public-facing website the privacy policy is straight-forward and available for users to reference via a link on the site. It reads as follows:
'The website will not disclose personally identifiable information we collect from users to third parties without their permission except to the extent necessary, including: To fulfil user requests, to protect ourselves from liability, to comply with the terms and conditions of our internet host provider.'
The website is built using a secured Drupal CMS platform where all content is housed, and no user-specific or personal information is stored in the website.
