Dear Melbourne... a note from Debbie Millman

Yesterday marked Day Zero for the COVID-19 Pandemic. In light of this, many difficult decisions had to be made. Debbie Millman, who was meant to embark a plane to Melbourne yesterday to present workshops and a talk for Melbourne Design Week, has had to cancel her visit due to the pandemic situation.
“My sincere deepest apologies to you and everyone involved in bringing me to Melbourne...It is just too risky for me at the moment... the School of Visual Arts in New York has closed the school, they have cancelled classes for the rest of the week and all classes moving forward for the foreseeable future need to be online.”
Debbie is truly sorry and has created a series of 10 art pieces to express her feelings for Melbourne and her disappointment of plans being interrupted.
The Creative Women’s Circle and Debbie are working together to still try and bring Debbie to the Australian design community in a digital form. So watch this space.
