Winners of the 2015 US [app] Design Awards have been announced.  Gold and silver winners have been awarded in over 20 categories covering B2B, Innovation, Community, Lifestyle, Marketing, Finance & mCommerce, Information and Health & Wellbeing. The awards provide a unique opportunity for all sectors of the industry and marketplace to engage and extend the design conversation and to celebrate the courage of both commissioners and creators.

design100 and [app] Design Awards Founder Mark Bergin said “the acceleration in the apps market continues unabated. In the past arms races have been about strength, domination and control.

The digital economy is more about nuance; users will drop an app at lightning speed if it’s not on trend, not in the behavioural pattern of a fast changing world. Again we’ve seen long hall app brands innovate, come up with something astounding and take the challenge up to the new disrupters.
Apps are accelerating from smart phones to include machine to machine, web apps and ever more so connected devices.  The pace of the market is astounding and speeding up – congratulations to the market leaders.”

About design100
design100's mission is to celebrate the courage of those who commission design and those who create it. design100 provides a collaborative platform of award programs across three continents, supported by the world’s most creative minds and organisations. It prides itself on accelerating the transformation to a design-led marketplace; one that understands that tomorrow is the result of yesterday’s courage. Each design100 award program acknowledges that we live in a marketplace where the quality of our design choices should be a mix of sound commercial understanding and courageous, relevant design. design100's unique difference is to recognise the courage of both those who commission design and those who create it.
