Yolla is an application that lets you make free HD quality calls to other Yolla users and premium quality calls to any phones all over the world at low rates.

The app development included branding, UX wireframes, UI design for iOS and Android platforms and motion design. We took additional attention to screens transitions and internal animations for the functional parts of the app. Project team: brand designer, analyst, UX designer, UI designer for each platform, illustrator, motion designer, project manager and art-director.
Project Brief
With Yolla, you can make FREE HD calls to other Yolla users and low-rate, high-quality calls to any mobile or landline phone in the world. Yolla is – and always will be – transparent, simple, user-friendly, and ad-free. The main important features are:
- Free in-app calls and low-rate calls to any phone. No hidden fees;
- User-friendly interface native for iOS and Android smartphones;
- Call to landlines and mobiles from anywhere;
- Great quality calls to landline and mobile phones and HD between users.
Project Need
Unlike other apps, Yolla provides direct communication services, without engaging any third parties. It allows Yolla to keep lowest prices with best communication quality.
Our team had a task to create a simple and comfortable user interface but with beautiful graphics and effective motion design. On wireframing phase we were preparing concepts of how each feature works from UX point of view and visual perception.
App’s unique interface reflects great value of the product for users and emphasizes the app among others.
User Experience
The app's audience is wise in terms of age and smartphone using practice. Our goal was to create easy and intuitive interface: clear navigation, easily read fonts, pleasant colors and supporting graphic elements (icons and illustrations).

This is a public application providing information from users and it implements standard functionality for users accounts.
Community
Apps more than ever are helping our communities to connect and engage, from emergency services to Not for Profits to social groups, these apps not only assist in delivery but provide efficiencies importantly providing those at the coalface more time to do their important work whether it be fighting fires or managing the local team. It's not all serious though we're also looking for apps that work to help bring the community groups together with fun and enjoyable activities.
