Project Brief

iPresent gives sales teams the power to present collateral on mobile devices via an engaging and user friendly interface. The impressive cloud based content management system also provides complete control over the distribution and use of content. iPresent does this through three core themes:

1. Beautiful mobile presentations - Present your marketing collateral in a dynamic mobile app for maximum impact and results.

2. True content management - Push the latest content so everyone's always up to date: on brand, on message, on time.

3. Powerful analytics - Gain insight from analytics, secure control and transform results.

Project Need

iPresent was born to fulfil the need to easily manage and present sales collateral on mobile devices.

The iPad's potential as a sales tool was instantly recognised once it was launched. Sales teams were increasingly enthusiastic to adopt the hardware in the sales environment. The challenge with this however was that collateral presented on a mobile device is extremely hard to manage, monitor and regulate across large sales teams. It's also time consuming and difficult to get all collateral looking good on a tablet.

Not only did iPresent want to make using a tablet as a sales tool enjoyable for employees in the field, we wanted to make content management across mobile device users easy for head office.

iPresent is innovative because it releases the full potential of the mobile device for sales teams, making tablets the sales tool that everyone hoped and dreamed they could be. Our content management system makes pushing content out to thousands of individual mobile devices seamless. Finally, iPresent provides powerful usage analytics and feedback that give enterprises full visibility of what materials are being presented and how users are engaging with the tool. This revolutionises the understanding of what is happening in field based sales meetings, enabling organisations to optimise content and delivery, as well as training of users, to achieve the best results.

User Experience

iPresent re-invents what content management means, transforming it to being presentation oriented rather than just storage oriented.

Sales teams are able to access collateral through a variety of beautiful, interactive menus that are optimised for presentations. Traditional file storage makes content available, but not necessarily presentable. This is one of the reasons why the iPresent experience is so unique. It means that any piece of collateral is at a user's fingertips, ready to present with optimum impact instead of wasting time looking around complex file structures. This turns the tablet device into a truly effective sales tool.

Sales people love using it and, ultimately, it helps individuals and companies to sell more effectively.

Project Marketing

Our marketing has focused on user experience of the product itself. Our root to market is very simple: we organic and paid search brings visitors to the website, where they sign up for a free trial to try the product and have the opportunity to sign up for the full package.

iPresent fits exceptionally well with large enterprise customers. This delivers rapid uptake of users within large accounts, which is supported by our direct sales team.

The excellent uptake from our existing route to market has provide iPresent with an excellent foundation in the market. Based on this, iPresent will develop additional sales channels to further extend the company's market penetration.

Project Privacy

iPresent takes certain measures to ensure all client data remains private and secure, including:

- Once a user is signed in, all pages are accessed via Port 443 to the Web Server using SSL encrypted connections. No customer content is stored on the Web Servers.
- The CMS is hosted on Amazon’s Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) With Amazon S3’s data protection features, data is protected from both logical and physical failures, guarding against data loss from unintended user actions, application errors, and infrastructure failures.
- All our EC2 instances run inside Amazon’s Virtual Private Cloud. This ensures that no traffic travels via any other public network inside Amazon. The VPC allows fine grain control over the inbound and outbound traffic to ensure no unauthorized traffic is routed around the network.
- The data on the device is flagged as "not included in backup" so it is not synced to any other machines, nor to the Apple iCloud service.
- iPad devices store all their data encrypted at rest on individual devices. The data is stored using the standard Apple on device encryption which is tied to the device pin / pass code.
