Project Overview

Based on the design concept of "Versailles Metropolis", using representative elements of Versailles style, comprehensively considering the local geographical environment and humanistic environment, we want to construct the future of the metropolis and make a new impression of the city to be recognized - the artistic pearl of Yuxi.
We not only design a sales center, but also create a banquet hall that accommodates Yuxi’s memories and emotions, and places happiness and beauty.
Every customer who comes here will feel respected. It has provided customers with a distinguished recreation center in the city.

Project Brief

"To create a landmark-style living environment, the most important thing is the scale of the space." This is the original idea of the project designer. In order to ensure that visitors will be full of fantasy about the future life when they step into this place for the first time, the reception lobby strengthens the large-scale space with high-rise cascading layout, vertical glass lighting decorations like layers of clouds, delivering a magnificent brilliance. Between the glory and solemnity, the design perfectly conveys the rational beauty of Versailles architecture, making visitors feel that they are walking freely in an ancient palace.

Project Need

The floral installation "Cocoon into butterfly" in the atrium: If architecture is the communication with life, then plants are the most iconic expression of architectural aesthetics. It is a floral installation in the central hall that deeply attracts people's attention, and echoes the lamps on the top-" "Butterfly", rising from the ground, and spreading flowers and trees in various poses upwards from its tightly-wrapped body, which seems to try its best to release a powerful force after talking with the earth, implying that this city is presenting a new future with an abundance and fullness. It is bright and ambitious, and it is dazzling!

Design Challenge

The design flow is from the front desk to the central hall, and the necessary link to outline the transition and integration is starting from the area of the central staircase. The design creates a smooth curve to outline the transition of time and space, using the falling gilt bird to add extravagant inspiration to the natural charm, and using the metal-toned resting setting to make the space illusion the bright light and beautiful dreamland, echoing the gorgeous and elegant space atmosphere of the front hall.

Sustainability

European-style structure and decoration often require more materials, but in this project, we used semi-finished structured construction modes for some relatively complex decorations and details, simplifying the complicated content, and highlighting several design points that we have used the Versailles style, which have greatly reduced the waste of labour and materials.
