The client Peter Nawn commissioned Fuse Mobile to be their development partner to provide creative, design and software development across the Easy Payslip digital suite of products including Web, iOS and Android applications.
Easy Payslip is an easy to use application that is fast, reliable and solves a number of pain points small businesses were experiencing with current payslip alternatives.

Project Brief
Together with the client we identified the key target market as small business owners managing a workforce of up to 12 employees who needed a fast and reliable solution to distributing payslips to their employees. This target market are busy and time poor individuals and organisations who need to be able to quickly generate payslips on the go.
The brief expanded from generating a simple payslip to be being able to produce reports such as payments activity summaries. These features also gave the business the ability to customise reports, track entitlements and superannuation.
An important part of the brief was the ability for the user to seamlessly switch between desktop and apps to input data and generate payslips. To achieve fast performance and syncronisation of data across platforms we used Couchbase a NoSQL database that gave us the agility, flexibility and performance at scale we required.
Project Need
Having a successful accountancy practise the client Peter Nawn recognised the demand for an easy to use, mobile friendly and competitively priced payslip and payroll application that bridged the gap between expensive cloud solutions and handwritten payslips.
User Experience
In our discussions with the client and through a survey of his clientele we discovered what was important to small businesses and their employees. These insights gave us the core product features and reinforced what we could do to improve their current payroll set up and the distribution of payslips to their employees.
From onboarding to generating your first employee payslip the user is taken through easy steps that clearly show what the user has next to complete and is designed to make this process quick, easy and intuitive.
The response from users has been overwhelmingly positive with many reviews citing the ease of using the product across web and the mobile apps.

But we also have a greater-than-ever appreciation for simplicity, our virtual office and individual time wealth. We’re craving flexible technology to work from anywhere.
Easy Payslip was founded on this very premise. We are creating meaningful business applications by developing innovative ways to help future business practices in the most effective flexible way, we have identified our key customer demographic as small business owners.
We engage our customers through brand awareness and rolling out engaging content via social media, as well as creating Industry relationships by approaching business associations to educate their members and to build the awareness of our products.
We have PR Media releases in industry magazines and are using online marketing to engage customers.

We only collect and hold Personal Information that is absolutely vital to allow us to function in the way that you require, namely, to seamlessly and regularly create accurate Payslips for your staff at the touch of a button.
We also collect your credit card or payment details that you use whilst purchasing Easy Pay Slip app. However, we do not hold this information. This information is collected through a secure payment gateway using iTunes and Stripe.
We constantly and consistently take the most updated available technical steps to ensure that the Personal Information we collect and hold is always protected and secure.
