OneRecord, is a digital health company, with apps on iOS, Android, and web that enables consumers to collect, manage and share their health care records and health plan records in one place - for free. A consolidation of digital health care records provides the full picture of a consumer’s health.

Project Brief
Healthcare has been top of mind for all since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Access to digital health records has become more important than ever and we facilitate that universal access. Getting back to work, back to school, and back to travel means people need a single reliable source to share their private health information.
OneRecord streamlines the process of collecting that data, making it plain and simple to share. Having a digital wallet with vaccination status, emailing your primary care doctor your last blood results, or allowing parents to send records to school for their children should be easy. And with OneRecord, there’s a simple UI for that.
OneRecord was founded with one mission: to empower consumers by putting their health records at their fingertips. This came from our founding team’s personal experience of needing to collect all of their medical records in one place to get a diagnosis and to manage and coordinate their care between their care providers.
At OneRecord, we explore big ideas and define strong value propositions, iterating through data-driven design to build high-performance products people love to use. Our team is at the bleeding edge in developing the next generation of digital health experiences and we love what we do.
Project Need
We have entered into a new era in healthcare where government mandates such as Interoperability and Patient Access, Price Transparency, and No Surprise Act are forcing healthcare providers to break down information barriers and deliver patient health data transparently.
OneRecord empowers users to take control of this health data. Our direct-to-consumer applications offer users the ability to connect to different health systems and consolidate their health records into a single longitudinal data store. OneRecord was built using secure standards based APIs to enable the consumer to access all of their data from across the nation in one secure place - their OneRecord.
When consumers have equal access to all their healthcare information. They are empowered to understand their care and can see what they are being charged for. It leads to honest pricing and more equitable care.
User Experience
What seems like a simple problem to solve - consolidating health records and displaying the data simply - has been full of lackluster solutions. Other services fail to be patient-first, forgetting that design matters, especially when conveying intricate data, and neglecting the frustration users experience when core solutions have hiccups.
OneRecord solves these problems with its user-centered design approach that puts the users' needs as the primary focus. Simplifying record retrieval from any data source is hugely complex, but to any user, it should not feel that way - and we achieve that with a constantly evolving UI, directly through user feedback.
OneRecord’s underlying technology is artfully designed to be interoperable with a wide range of non-standard external APIs and SDKs, while simultaneously maintaining high-security standards. This allows for a ubiquitous single source of information that makes health tracking, like immunizations and covid passports, a trusted destination in an understandable way. OneRecord is building the groundwork for the future of digital health interoperability today with an understanding of the healthcare capabilities of tomorrow.
OneRecord goes above and beyond to advocate for patients. OneRecord reaches out to provider facilities that block the flow of information on behalf of users who can’t access records.
