Project Overview

This project is designed to simulate Hyperloop routes and compare those with with traditional modes of transportation, passengers transported, speed and time difference and emissions.

Organisation

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies

Team

Ronnie Peters, Creative Director / Designer Yaya Zhou, Project Lead Julia Soriano, Marketing Lead

Project Brief

Inspire and educated people about Hyperloop with an online Route Simulator tool. Allow for hypothetical routes to be easily made over a map by placing two end points of a prospective route. Compare speed, time, emissions and number of passengers transported, to Plane, Train and Car traffic over the same route.

Project Need

A fully working Hyperloop is still in R&D and testing phases, so to stimulate interest and excitement and educate people, the Route Simulator is an interactive tool that engages and allows for interaction over a map. As people see the massive time savings, the almost zero emissions and volume of people that can be transported, it illustrates how Hyperloop will completely change the way we live, work and interact.

User Experience

The Hyperloop Transportation Technologies Route Simulator is designed to be intuitive to the point of needing no instruction or education. It is a simple interface that allows the user to explore and be delighted and educated by the result.

Project Marketing

The Route Simulator will live on the www.hyperloop.global website and be promoted through social media and the sharing of routes.

Project Privacy

This will be open to the public and everyone is encouraged to use and explore the tool.

This can be any new service or application from a start-up to an industry leader. It’s not just bells and whistles we're after but true innovation, exceeding expectations and filling a void that had previously been open.
