Design is the means to a better future. The Next Design Awards highlights the emerging innovation solving some of today's toughest problems and improving tomorrow.

Winning a Next Design Award is the chance to build your design brand, meet design industry insiders and gain vital recognition for work that exists outside of commercial considerations.

The Prize

Winners receive a priceless invitation to a Global Design Giants Dinner - a seat at the dinner table with your design heroes for an evening of conversation around the current state and future trends of design. Dinners are held in NYC, LON, SFO, CHI, BRL, HKG, SYD, MEL. Winners also receive a 12 month DRIVENxDESIGN World Passport - Access to all DRIVENxDESIGN events held in all cities throughout the world.

Awards Cycles

The Next Design Awards recognise the speed of the modern world. 12 months is a long time in a high speed connected world, as such the awards run twice a year and are open to designers throughout the world.

Nomination Categories

Principle nomination categories are awarded according to project nature based as follows;

  • Passion Projects
  • Conceptual Design
Each category is then awarded according to the following design disciplines;
  • Space
  • Object
  • Visual
  • Experience
  • Digital

Nomination fees are capped at USD100.
