Project Brief
For the client, who as the owner of the residence, loves European culture very much. The integral design idea integrates the European romantic, the American classical and the contemporary life function. Traveling focuses on life, and the “home” is where the heart belongs to. The design idea based on the new classical white combines the elegant and strong colors that spawn the diverse ambiences. By means of showing different affections with colors, the designer decorates the house with the multiple styles, where the mind traveling is seated.
Project Need
The private area embellished with the different colors exposes the consistent integral style, of which the study room is distinguished into three areas with the royal blue, the wood cabinets and the long curved table that create the British-style classical reading environment for the family. The dressing area is behind the headboard in the master bedroom, in which this exclusive design idea harmoniously integrates the thick and laid-back ambiences.
Design Challenge
The decorations of the dining room and kitchen are of great concerns that the previous kitchen wall is demolished so as to spare the extra space for the kitchen counter. The reduce the kitchen fumes, the designer replaces the original painted glass with the imported white gourd-style mark bricks that symbolize “fortune and auspiciousness.” The black-and-white vintage bricks, meanwhile, figuratively delineate the boundary between areas. The elegant French-style furniture congruously reconciles the entire space that the gentle colors and delicate textures create the graceful impression for the dining room as well.
Sustainability
The entryway is decorated with the green closets and woods. The louver cabinets not only allow airflow, also develop the unique style. The iron sliding door, meanwhile, figuratively distinguishes the inner and outer spaces. The front area, in the house, composed of the public area, where the living room embellished with strong colors discloses the calm attraction. The wall behind the sofa decorated with the dark moldings delicately conceal the large storage cabinets that are capacious for big appliances. The dark-purple TV wall reals the romantic affection, and the unsymmetrical style agreeably corresponds to the entire atmosphere as well.
