Project Brief

The brief was to create a bold new brand that would appeal to property developers, architects and financial investors, and to roll it out over a comprehensive suite of collateral: stationery, website, capabilities brochure and all communications. We also developed a detailed brand book and style guide to support the smooth enactment of future branding opportunities – for this client, a precise, detail-oriented approach was paramount.

Project Innovation/Need

The brand refresh needed to elevate Verve Constructions to a greater level without losing the DNA or equity of the existing brand. More sleek and professional, the brand refresh reflected their new business goals and strengthened their brand image amongst their business partners and peers, ready for future growth and projects.

The key pillar of Verve Construction is its people, so we heroed that core asset within our art direction concept – ‘Working Hands’. Stylised documentary photography featured the clients’ own team members, focused on the raw, natural beauty of craftsmanship, and the unparalleled quality that comes from experienced hands.

Working with Verve’s people provided the authenticity that resonated with our intended audiences, who were industry leaders themselves. This also provided an opportunity for the whole company to be involved in developing their new chapter.

Design Challenge

In a crowded industry with little differentiation between construction companies, the challenge was to modernise and humanise the brand in a meaningful way, while reflecting their new business vision. Rather than showing buildings, we celebrated the people within the company and the relationships they build.

Effectiveness

Verve Constructions received overwhelming positive feedback on the new brand from internal and external stakeholders, opening up new opportunities to discuss their new business vision, leading to successful tender submissions. On site, the powerful new branding enjoyed greater cut through and visibility.
