Victoria Harbour Customer Experience Centre

Lendlease are a leading international property and infrastructure group. The project portfolio span key sectors including development, construction, communities and healthcare development. In addition, Lendlease are proud industry leaders in the design and build of sustainable, innovative and vibrant city places which create positive environmental and social impacts. Victoria Harbour is Lendlease’s largest, and oldest Urban Regeneration project. A 24ha masterplan inclusive of commercial, retail, civic and residential assets which commenced development in 2001 and due for completion in 2025. Less than 15 years into development, Victoria Harbour holds the crown for the greenest precinct in the southern hemisphere, with more green-star rated buildings per square kilometre than any other community in Australia. It has also become an economic hub and community in its own right: it’s home to ANZ’s global headquarters along with approximately 15,000 workers, 4,500 residents and more than 80 retail outlets. Victoria Harbour is acknowledged as one of Lendlease’s best examples of large scale, sustainable urban development. The final portion of the precinct, Collins Wharf – comprised of 1,500 dwellings over five apartment buildings - would see-out the delivery of Victoria Harbour. The release of Collins Wharf was recognised as a pivotal moment in Victoria Harbours development and thus required an intelligent and innovative approach to the traditional sales platform.

The brochure for No 1 Collins Wharf by Lendlease had to demonstrate the development's unique point of difference in order to succeed in a highly competitive market. The development was a great success and achieved an 85% sold mark within the first month of launching to market.

Lendlease Apartments Customer Experience

Lendlease set out to be the number one ‘brand of choice’ in the mid to premium apartments market. To achieve this, the business knew they had to create certainty - setting expectations and meeting them consistently - by delivering on the promise. During 2016/17, the business had over 2,500 customers ready to settle their apartment purchases across six major projects in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. To create a point of difference and stand above the rest, it was imperative the business challenged standard off-plan development practices and fostered a stronger and more effective customer engagement program. With a comprehensive understanding of the buying market, the business set out to define their product and customer strategies and develop a product and service story for its customers with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality of product and memorable experiences. The customer experience and event program created around the 'Hard Hat' tours and Pre-Settlement Inspections was designed to achieve combined positive outcomes for customer service, retention, uplift and future referrals. It was an integrated objective to install confidence with our customers while allowing us to develop deeper and more meaningful relationships and better understand their motivations and requirements.
