Grill’d website

Digital - Food & Drink

Founded in 2004, Grill’d is celebrated for its quality products and community-mindedness. However, Grill’d found its digital assets were not keeping up with the company’s rapid expansion. Website information was often out of date, and the site would crash following surges in traffic. Eager to generate the same buzz around their digital presence as their physical product and in-store customer service, Grill’d commissioned us to develop a next-generation website alongside an agile, sophisticated platform to streamline business processes and support a variety of digital marketing efforts. The new Grill’d website has been exceptionally well received, not only by existing customers and Grill’d team members, but by those new to the brand, too. A well-designed sitemap and technically-friendly page designs contributed to a 12% year-over-year increase in organic traffic. Although we observed increased engagement across all site visitors, this lift was particularly evident amongst new users. Supported by a number of campaigns over the first three months following launch, website traffic grew by 32.6%, with a stable new vs. returning visitor ratio of 34%. Additionally, pageviews increased by 121.6%, bounce rate decreased by half, and average session duration doubled over the previous year. Taken together, these statistics suggest the new website’s content and structure is delivering true value, making the Grill’d brand more accessible and alluring to prospects. Thanks to our load-balanced hosting solution, the Grill’d website has maintained 99.99% uptime since launch.

Six Park website

Digital - FinTech

Six Park are a financial services company specialising in robo-advisory and self-managed super funds. Launched into the market in 2016, Six Park is part of a new breed of investment advisers; ‘robo-advisers’ are one of the hottest topics in fintech, with the potential to slash investment costs and eliminate conflicts of interest. Six Park offers globalised, diversified investment portfolios which fit the customer’s risk profile. Their profile is assessed through an on-site questionnaire, and during the onboarding process. In the ideal case, an individual investor is ready to start funding their portfolio within 24 hrs. Evolution 7 were initially engaged to review and provide recommendations to get best value from existing digital assets and digital marketing activity. This later expanded to include a redevelopment of the website to deliver an enhanced user experience. The resulting website provides a highly considered and slick UX, highlighting the benefits of programmatic funds management and benefits of using Six Park, along with a streamlined onboarding process. The site is highly optimised for lead generation and conversion; including considered pathways through content and actions for different target audiences, and the design and development of pay-per-click landing pages to maximise investment on paid media and marketing campaigns. Following launch, key statistics make impressive reading: traffic is up 56%, bounce rate is down 19%, average session duration is up 60, and most importantly for Six Park’s business objectives, the account creation conversion rate is up 87%.

Lifebroker website

Digital - FinTech

With over a decade of experience, Lifebroker is an expert in life insurance and income protection. Lifebroker helps you easily compare different insurance products and prices, so you can get a fair and balanced, comprehensive assessment of what’s available and what might best meet your individual needs. Lifebroker engaged us to improve customer UX, incorporating the refreshed brand elements. The site had to reflect the warmer and more engaging tone of the new brand, integrate with the stand-alone insurance comparison tool we launched a few months prior, and ensure customers understood the features and details of different life insurance cover options. After thorough and considered research of the self-directed life insurance market and crafting detailed user journeys, we built a website that harmoniously balanced lead generation against industry education and product information. The site is fully responsive, with customer-centric features and intuitive pathways leading users through the site’s content and tools. Delivering a significant uptick in leads, the site performs exceptionally for users and Lifebroker alike.

Our requirements were unique so a typical cookie-cutter website wasn’t going to cut it. Evolution 7 analysed our requirements in detail and designed/implemented a new website which exceeded our expectations. It was done on time and on budget. The entire process was diligently managed to ensure the desired outcome. I cannot fault any aspect of the process or outcome.” - Irving Hoffman, Director, Exigence

Axton Finance

Digital - Business Operations

Axton Finance are an established mortgage broker based in Hawthorn East, Melbourne. With a business built on trust, confidence and professional expertise, Axton Finance service a wide range of clients with a focus in residential finance solutions. A boutique firm, offering a more personal and bespoke service offering, Axton Finance wanted to capitalise on their key points of difference: a small but professional firm - not a big city firm in a glass tower - with consistent point of contact for customers, an independent operator not part of a chain, and a strong focus on providing a high level of personalised customer service. With lead generation a key focus, measurable return on investment (ROI) was crucial. Axton Finance understood that a strategy-led engagement was the best way to ensure that the website was fit for purpose and focused on delivering quality leads, rather than simply volume. We designed and developed a website with a strong aesthetic and a focus on articulating delivering a high quality service to customer needs.

List G Barristers website

Digital - Business Operations

List G Barristers (List G) is Victoria’s leading commercial and public law list and barrister clerking service. The organisation’s prestige derives both from its members—barristers who have worked on some of Australia’s highest profile cases—and the many benefits of joining List G. List G operates as a “list-owned” model, which means its barristers own, operate, and are invested in the company’s success and reputation. For this reason, List G has held uncontested market leadership for decades, and is committed to contemporary, practical innovation. Evolution 7 were engaged to redevelop List G’s brand identity, and to redevelop the website, to deliver a high-end experience that better reflected the brand, and to highlight the extensive expertise and unparalleled prestige of the list members.

Little Real Estate Website

Digital - Home & Living

With a unique business model and a plan to shake up the real estate market, Little Real Estate burst onto the scene in 2009 and quickly became Australia’s largest independently-owned real estate company. Little Real Estate has risen the ranks by continually making good on its promise to connect with customers, delivering authentic service based on trust and transparency. Despite its market leadership, however, the Little Real Estate team found that traditional methods of reaching out to new and existing customers no longer delivered the kind of value characteristic of the brand. Little Real Estate prides itself on creating a consistent, captivating experience across all digital channels, but acknowledged the previous website fell short of this goal. In order to build a truly ground-breaking new product that satisfied Little Real Estate’s objectives, we facilitated workshops with the Little Real Estate team and engaged in extensive customer research. These activities helped us to develop empathy and trust with key stakeholders and learn precisely what kinds of information and functionalities delivered the most value versus those that took away from the overall experience. As a result, we delivered a website that is on-brand, fully responsive, intelligently structured, and extremely user-friendly. With search as a key feature, Little Real Estate could now provide its customer base lightning-fast access to property listings.

BTB Australia Website Project

Digital - Business Platforms

BTB Australia lowers barriers to entry for prospective telecommunications/hosting providers, by offering white-labelled provider services, removing their clients from complexity and allowing them to focus on customer acquisition, retention, and service. With a wide range and depth of service offering, an extensive network, and strong relationships with top-tier providers, BTB has developed a sound basis from which to grow reach and market share. Prior to engaging Evolution 7, marketing and client acquisition focused on outbound efforts and hadn’t utilised the website as a marketing tool to drive leads to the business. The previous website wasn’t in line with the brand identity, nor did it provide a basis for BTB to undertake digital marketing activity, or track and analyse efforts and return on investment. The redeveloped website delivers a comprehensive and engaging experience and a powerful digital marketing asset for the brand that delivers value to the business, positioning BTB as a trustworthy, reputable and leading brand in the market.

Melbourne Convention Bureau - visitability website

Digital - TravelTech

The Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) supports organisers of conferences/events held in Melbourne, to attract delegates and promote other leisure activities to enrich the visitor’s experience. The expected outcomes are increased event registration/attendance, and increased economic activity in Melbourne and surrounding areas from visitation. The key digital asset previously being used to support the promotion of Melbourne and related leisure activities around conferences was the 'Melbourne Widget'. This was embedded in a conference website, and via a modal window it contained video, imagery and content about visiting Melbourne. Unfortunately this approach was dated, not responsive to devices, and by operating within a modal window, was difficult to use. Evolution 7 was engaged to reimagine the way Melbourne was presented to conference delegates, and provide a more immersive, content-rich and informative experience to those wishing to explore more about what the city and surrounding region has to offer. We developed the visitation experience as a microsite, invoked from a conference website, but with a richer and more flexible user experience. Drawing upon our considerable experience in building compelling and award-winning user experiences, and our expertise in the travel and tourism sector, we developed a comprehensive website that ingests and publishes the event and operator data available from third-party sources. This massively reduces the time required to create and curate content, makes marketing a breeze, and ensures the website always serves current and relevant content to users.

Grill'd - API Development

Digital - API

Grill’d required a range of applications across their digital ecosystem to access and ingest canonical data easily within the Grill’d architecture, Ideally, this would be achieved through a single API that unified disparate data sources and made them consumable through a single endpoint. With this in mind, a comprehensive API was required to provide a vast range of granular data, including product data, nutritional information, localised product availability, user preferences, orders and more.
