Send a Script is a mobile app giving an independent link between the G.P, the Consumer, and any Australian Pharmacy. Sending prescriptions using your iPhone, iPod or iPad will save you TIME, offer you CONVENIENCE and give you CHOICE.

Project Brief

We remove the frustration of in-store waiting times for a pharmacy customer.
Our vision is to create a mobile business tool which enables Australians to order and have their prescriptions dispensed at ANY pharmacy of their CHOICE before they arrive.

Project Need

Send A Script is the first and currently the only iPhone Prescription App available to use in Australia. It solves consumer’s time poor situations, assists consumers in finding an open chemist, offers a better communication option with a pharmacist anywhere in Australia and helps streamline dispensary workflow for pharmacy owners. It defines when a customer needs to speak to a pharmacist or when a customer simply wants their prescription refilled quickly.

User Experience

The user engages with the entry by using the app to send their prescription to participating pharmacies. This is an important development in the pharmacy space because there are many time poor pharmacy customers, who need convenience, want choice and desire privacy when requiring a prescription to be filled. The steps required were to create a 4 tap app. To send a prescription to a participating chemist all customers need to do is:
1. Tap - the Script button.
2. Snap - a photo of their script
3. Select - a participating pharmacy by location (within 50km radius), postcode or saved favourite
4. Send - tap the send button

Progressing by educating and partnering with GPs & Pharmacists to help build the bridge and knowledge gap between patients & customers waiting times and how this innovative new technology can assist this important consumer problem.
