Project Brief
Every household, in the residential building with 270-degree view, has the wide range of vision. Herein lies the aspiration, from the designer, that brings to every resident a distinct vision of life.
The building next to the permanent open space is invigorating from the aspects of its scene and location. The design of green building, meanwhile, shows friendly attitude to environment and utilizes resources effectively, thus accomplishing the balance between the architecture and nature.
In a world with a fast pace of life, people can resume the calm life and feel the lives in the universe by starting their life in this place.
Project Innovation/Need
For each household to see the view of the park, the designer alters the role the dining room into a space of hallway. The curved appearance of the building agreeably corresponding to the nearby Fenghe Park figuratively signifies the image of the blooming flowers bringing wealth and reputation artistically conformable to the green space of the park. The design plan presenting the curved appearance of building leads to the different curvature of each floor, thus making construction challenging and costly. The designer seeking “a wonderful design” unrestrained by the given challenge brings about a phenomenal residential building.
Design Challenge
To react favorably to the greenery surrounding environment, the designer shows the design idea with the fascination of the growing trees. The sleek balconies elegantly evolve in curves by different floors. The enlivening layers of façade bring about the poetic charms of the building. The building base recessed to the street by 18 to 27 cm shows a humble attitude that leaves the space to flowers and trees, walking path and square, and people and life. The exquisite building façade highly considering details quiescently interact with the surrounding environment in a calm and serene ambience.
Sustainability
Tackling with global warming, it is our responsibility to maintain the earth a clean land. The architect is the make-up artist of the landscape as well as the guardian of the earth’s health.
This construction case is a residential unit with three levels underground and 30 levels above, with the total height of 154.5m. The interior of the architecture facing the east and west contains a sky garden with a double-void design. Assisting the exterior framework, it gives shade to the building to achieve the goals and energy saving and the making of a pleasant space. This construction case has earned the Diamond Grade Green Building Badge by the government, achieving eight indicators: greenery, water conservation, daily energy conservation, CO₂ emission reduction, and construction waste reduction, and accomplished 48 score items: sustainable site, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation and design process, and regional priority. It complies with the concepts of healthy, sustainability, and environmental protection.
