Suprême Zéro Défaut CC cream is a complete physical blocker; it soothes discomforts from sun exposure via refined mineral powder together with highly effective and non-irritating skincare ingredients, allowing base makeup, sun protection and skincare to be done all at once. Other than the sun protection function, it also provides moisturizing, whitening, oil-controlling, anti-aging and complexion-correcting effects. Those who prefer a natural makeup feel can pat on the loose powder gently to set the makeup, thereby creating a concealing effect while enhancing facial dullness. Its light, non-greasy and skin-friendly texture offers a refreshing sensation, giving you watery skin with radiance.

Project Brief

The product ingredients can relieve and stabilize the skin via Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil and Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, thereby conditioning the sebum secretion on the surface of the skin. Whereas the South African Barosma Betulina Leaf Extract (AffiporeTM) and Tree of Life – Hydrolyzed Adansonia Digitata Extract improve oily skin, as well as refine and astringe pores, thereby enhancing the skin’s moisturizing level.
Suprême Zéro Défaut CC cream not only evenly conceals skin defects and hides pores, demonstrating a brilliant concealing effect, but can also be used before makeup as the foundation for oil-control and water-retention. The ductility of the silky texture with the refreshing and non-greasy skin sensation gives the user a light nude makeup sensation immediately along with effective oil control to offer a lasting makeup.
Meanwhile, in order not to poison the ocean, Suprême Zéro Défaut CC cream uses coral reef-friendly sunblock – titanium oxide. The friendly sun blocker which can be decomposed naturally reduces the factors in coral bleaching, thereby protecting our blue planet together.

Project Innovation/Need

When compared to other chemical sun blockers (energy liberation such as absorbing UV ray and transforming it into heat energy), the Suprême Zéro Défaut CC cream uses physical sun-blocking as the foundation, including refraction and reflection, as well as moisturizing and oil-control. It does not use chemical ingredients that can cause skin allergies, but rather uses mild and non-irritating natural minerals to accomplish the effect. As a makeup touch-up, it can be applied at any time without creasing; or it can be used as a pre-makeup which is refreshing and non-greasy, offering high compatibility.

Design Challenge

Skin’s durability has decreased due to severe air pollution in recent years; with the raging pandemic, wearing a face mask every day has also altered people’s makeup habits, and more people became aware of their particular needs for sensitive skin. With popular cosmetic surgery skincare nowadays, the R&D team has adopted better moisturizing, milder and non-irritating raw materials.
The founder felt that it is difficult for people with sensitive skin to find an appropriate product on the market, hence decided to establish a friendly environment and set out from their own experience to create a skincare brand for sensitive skin that combines nature with technology.

Sustainability

L'oiseau Bleu insists that the ingredients are completely natural plant extracts, not tested on animals, alcohol-free, contain no petrochemical surfactants, heavy metals, artificial colorings, artificial fragrances, Paraben preservatives, SLS, SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate)…etc. It is also free from the 26 Fragrance Allergens listed by the European Commission, as well as the 102 ingredients announced by the Japanese Ministry of Welfare that will cause skin and health issues. It uses counter-grade skincare raw materials and persists in being environmentally friendly and sustainable for the manufacturing process.
