nib is one of Australia's fastest growing health insurers providing health and medical insurance to more than one million Australian and New Zealand residents. Outware Mobile and nib have been working together for over four years on the nib iOS and Android apps. Since its launch in 2012, the apps have been downloaded almost 300,000 times. Our latest update has brought the user interface up to date with leading edge design thinking and incorporate some exciting new technologies, such as Touch ID, as well as making the app compatible with the latest devices and operating systems.

Best Expanded Service or Application

Transurban manages and develops urban toll road networks in Australia and the United States of America. A top 20 company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), Transurban is the owner and manager of the toll road, CityLink, in Melbourne, Victoria. The CityLink app allows customers to have more visibility and control of their CityLink account, where previously it was not as easily accessible. The objective of the CityLink app is to increase customer engagement and provide an additional channel to deliver excellent customer service.

The Opal Travel app 2.0 is a major overhaul of the original app. It’s gone from a simple trip planner to offering an enhanced customer experience allowing users to not only plan their journey but to top up their Opal cards securely within the app. The new Opal Travel app significantly improves the experience for blind and vision-impaired customers by working with both Google TalkBack and Apple VoiceOver screen readers. It also identifies wheelchair accessible services. Travelling with Opal has become even more convenient and seamless for customers with the app.

Therefore it is the perfect companion for taxi and rideshare booking apps.
