Event Details

Catwalk Circus is an extravagant runway show scheduled in March, celebrating the creative parameters of how fashion can be showcased and experienced, far beyond the runway. The show includes collection shows from the hottest Australian and New Zealand labels, eccentric dance performances and outrageous jaw dropping acrobatics from over 90 performers to create an entertainment fashion extravaganza!

Innovation

OC Communications and Events brought theatrics and fashion to Melbourne’s majestic town hall on 1st March as Oscar Calvo’s Catwalk Circus hit the stage. Featuring circus gymnasts, dance troops, hoop divers and a plethora of energetic entertainment, fashion was only the beginning of this edgy extravaganza. This year Catwalk Circus supported the AIDS Trust of Australia. Catwalk Circus raised funds for The Aids Trust of Australia through live auctions and an opportunity to make a gold coin donation on the night. The funds raised will deliver essential response services to Australians across the nation living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

Sustainability

Catwalk Circus was produced with locally sourced creatives, designers, models and performers to help improve our economy and encourage the growth and sustainability of the fashion and arts industry in Melbourne/Australia. Key Melbourne organisations that played a significant role in the production of Catwalk Circus were: Circa Nica, Patrick Studios Australia (PSA), Pole Divas, Giant Models, Scene Models and more... www.catwalkcircus.com
